teresa (tess) flanagan
Lab Manager
Tess joined the DAX team in January 2016 as a research assistant for Professor Howard and is now working as a Lab Manager for the entire DAX Center. She is currently a senior and is pursuing a major in Scientific and Philosophical Studies of the Mind and minor in Mathematics. Outside of DAX, she is a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, on the board of the Alice Drum Women's Center, and a member of the improv comedy group, The Rumspringas. She is also a member of the Junto Honors Society and Alumni Leaders of Tomorrow. In the summer of 2016, she worked with Paul Bloom and Christina Starmans at the Yale Mind and Development Lab, and she is excited to work with Professor Howard as a Hackman scholar in the summer of 2017.
Stylianos syropoulos
Research Assistant
Stylianos joined the DAX Center in January 2017. Over the summer, Stylianos was doing a research as a Hackman scholar, and currently he is working on a directed research project with Professor Rottman. Outside of the research center, he is pursuing a major in Psychology and a minor in Classics. He is the president of Psi Chi, a member of Phi Sigma Pi and Eta Sigma Phi, part of the Alumni Leaders of Tomorrow program, and the Secretary for the International Club. Stylianos also works for the Athletics Department as a manager.
Heather Greenebaum
Research Assistant
Heather joined the DAX center in January 2017. She is currently working on a directed research project with Professor Rottman. Heather is a senior pursuing a major in Psychology and a minor in French. Outside of the DAX center, she is part of the the Students for Autism Club, Philanthropy Chair of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, and Recording Secretary of the cooking club. Heather enjoys working with kids, doing yoga, and cooking.
Josie Benitez
Research Assistant
Josie joined the DAX center in the Spring of 2017, and is currently working on a directed research project with Professor Rottman. Josie is a senior from Miami, Florida, pursuing a major in Scientific and Philosophical Studies of Mind, and a minor in Classics. Outside of the research center, she works as a manager at the Alumni Sports and Fitness Center, is a Posse Scholar, and also served as a Mentor Advisor for New College House. Josie recently returned from studying abroad in Athens, Greece in the Fall of 2016.
Hye rin lee
Research Assistant
Hye Rin is a senior and a C. Richard Puff Fellow working in the DAX Center with Professor Howard for Summer 2017. She is currently working on an independent research project with Professor Howard. Hye Rin is pursuing a double major in Psychology and Sociology; within these fields, she has a strong passion for medical sociology and positive psychology. Outside of the research center, she is the President of Students for Muscular Dystrophy Association, part of Asian Cultural Society, and a Student Representative for Building, Grounds, and Sustainability Trustee Committee. She is also a member of Psi Chi, Alpha Kappa Delta, and Pi Gamma Mu Honor Society.

Rachel gerb
Research Assistant
Rachel joined the DAX center in September 2017. She is doing directed research with Professor Rottman. She is pursuing a major in Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies. Outside of the lab, she is a member of the Gaming Society and Chabad, the Inter-Chapter Relations chair for Phi Sigma Pi Honor Fraternity, and is Publicist for the Quidditch team. During her free time, she loves being outside and doing amateur nail art.
Jennifer Thal
Research Assistant
Jennifer is a senior who has joined the DAX Center as a research assistant for Professor Casler with a passion for child development. Jennifer is a double major in Psychology and English, and loves to engage in the art of creative writing, acting and singing in F&M Players, is a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, and works as a Tutor in the Writing Center.

Research Assistant
Adele is a senior from Wuxi, China, pursuing a major in psychology. She joined the DAX center in the fall of 2017. Outside of the research center, she is the social media chair of the Art club, and she is also a member of the Compeer Lancaster program. When she has free time, she enjoys painting and coloring her hair.
Hannah rodriguez
Research Assistant

Hannah is a rising sophomore and is joining the DAX center as a summer research assistant for Professor Howard. Hannah is intending to major in Scientific and Philosophical Studies of the Mind (Cognitive Science) and minor in Spanish. Outside of class, she is a member of Mu Upsilon Sigma, sings with the Chamber Singers, and plays violin in the Orchestra and Philharmonia. Hannah loves working with all age groups and is excited to be in her home county this summer.
Emily kolb
Research Assistant
Emily is a junior and a Hackman Summer Scholar working in the DAX Center with Professor Howard for Summer 2017. She is a double major in Psychology and Government, with a passion for cross-cultural psychology. Emily is a Teaching Assistant for PSY100 Lab, an HA of Weis College House for 2016-2017, a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, the Vice President of Public Relations and Media for F&M’s Panhellenic Council, a member of Rho Alpha Sigma Honor Society, and a recipient of the Marshall Fellowship.

I'm in the Class of 2019 and live in Lancaster County. I am majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology. I am a thrower on the Men's Track and Field team as well as a member of the Ben's Underground Exec Board. In my spare time, I enjoy being active and spending time with my friends.
Lily Rodriguez

Lily joined DAX Center in Spring 2018 and now volunteers in Developing Moral Values lab. She is a First Year student and an intended Psychology/Sociology joint major and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) minor. Lily is from Cuba and was raised in Miami, Florida. She is a member of S.I.S.T.E.R.S., Mi Gente Latina, Active Minds, Diversity Change Agent Program, POSSE Miami, and is on the Executive Board of the Diversity Council as Secretary. In her free time, Lily likes to paint or draw.
Prsni PATEL

Prsni joined the DAX center in the Spring of 2018. Over the summer, she will be doing a directed research project with Professor Rottman. Prsni is a sophomore from Mumbai, India, pursuing a major in Psychology, and a minor in Economics. Outside of the DAX center, she is conducting an independent study through the Social Psychology laboratory, is an interviewer for the International Admissions Office, a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority and a recipient of the Marshall Fellowship. In her free time, Prsni enjoys doing yoga and being outdoors.
Tian tian
Research Assistant
Tian joined the DAX center in September 2017. She is a junior and pursuing a major in Psychology. She is also taking a lot of art and business classes and has a strong passion for applied psychology in the art and business world. Outside of DAX center, she is part of Asian Culture Society. She is also working for the Psychology department as a Psy230 Lab TA and the international center as a mentor in Fall 2017. She also worked with children on studio art and art therapy last summer.
Peiru Yu
Research Assistant
Peiru joined the DAX Center in January 2018. She is doing research with Professor Howard. She is a senior from Kunming, China, double majoring in Psychology and German. She is also a German 201 preceptor. Outside of DAX center, she is an active member of the German club, Psi Chi, and Delta Phi Alpha honor society. On her free time, she enjoys photographing and traveling around the world.
Xuming (lisa) liao
APA Intern
Lisa is a rising junior and Cognitive Science Major and Chemistry Minor. She is working with Professor Casler this summer at the Child Development Lab as a research assistant. Outside of class, Lisa works as a student assistant for sports medicine and enjoys singing very much.
